I haven't posted for a few days because we picked cherries, made cherry jelly(81/2 pints) , and we gave some away! Then......
we had a storm that scared the cat that ran into the sewing room! With help from the dog we found the cat but my sewing room turned out a mess! So after picking up a bit......
I had a yummy a snack(I always sleep better on a full stomach!) and......
took a nap!!!!! Nothing like an afternoon nap!!!!
I am just glad that day is over!
Today is my dad's birthday! He is telling everyone he is 59!!! Okay, dad whatever you say! If you are 59 that only makes me 37! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

Vickie, oh the jelly sounds delish! How much fun, all my memories of canning with my mom are pleasant and full of rich fruity smells. Thanks so much for your letters, I actually got both of them.
