YAY it's FRIDAY and FOOD!!!!

Hi there! I am posting today with a happier heart!
I can't think of a better way to get happy than to make something for someone whether it is from food or fabric! Today I am sharing with you some food!
The above picture is of the freezer slaw I helped my Mom with this morning!
We love it! It's great especially when almost everything we used was from the garden!

This picture is of the Danish Pancake Balls (Aebleskiver) I made for breakfast the other day!
I have had the pan for about 18 years, I know but you know I have been just a little intimidated by the thing! Anyway, Lilli had just been pleading with me to use it so I did!!!! We had fun and it wasn't nearly as hard as I thought! We put cooked apple pieces with butter, sugar and cinnamon inside the balls!

Then we served them sprinkled with powdered sugar and maple syrup! Yummy! Tomorrow we are going to serve them with strawberry jam inside! I'll let you know how they turn out!
I don't talk about the Maid-Rite place very often but I practically grew up on them so when we went there the other day we had to take pictures to share with you!
My Grandpa Lovell almost insisted we eat there every Friday night and we did even after he was gone! We don't so much anymore but we buy them at least once a month!
To tell you how good they are I was in line the other day and someone from far away had called in an order of 125 on cold buns so he could take them home and put them in the freezer! They steam their buns so if you are going to freeze them you should definitely get them on cold buns!
It's located in Greenville, OH!
Isn't this gross?!!! It's their gum wall! They sell t-shirts with this on them!

And this is the world famous Maid Rite! You can become a fan on facebook! WOW!!!
Of course, I had to!!!

I hope to get some major sewing done this weekend and I have got to bake cookies! Whenever I feel down I bake cookies! It's just what I do!

Wherever you are whatever you are doing, I hope you have a wonderfully happy day!

Yes, I have heard a lot about Maid Rite but have yet to go there.
The line is always so long, I just don't bother. But will sometime.
