Hope

Hi there!  It's me!  I know what you're thinking!  This girl and her 2 daughters has ran away!  Nope, not yet anyway!  I just hate to post without pictures.  It seems like a sad post without them.  I had to post today, though!
I have been ushering out the coziness of winter to let in the cool breezes of spring! Otherwise none as Spring Cleaning, yay!!!  Anyway, I found a small little book by Debbie Mumm called A Little Book of Blessings, that I completely forgot about.  Ugh...  I fell in love with it the first time I read it and I used to read a page or two out of it everyday until I put it away that is.  Since I found it I thought I would share one of my favorites today!

The word which God has written on the brow of every man is hope.
Victor Hugo

Well, I hope it brightens your day as it has mine!

Wherever you are Whatever you are doing I hope you have a wonderfully happy day full of hope!

It's almost Easter!!!

Hi!  I have been so far behind!  And the fact that the days fly by just doesn't help!
Anyway, Easter is almost here and we are excited!  Easter is like Christmas here!  We decorate and bake!
We make most of the gifts!  We have traditions like making baby powder bunny foot prints to each of the girls' rooms where there baskets are found!  We have our usual Easter Egg Hunt!  The fun thing about Easter is that no matter how old we are we can have so much fun with our traditions!  I hope the weather is nice so we can fly kites and blow bubbles!  Have you all seen those new colored bubbles by Crayola?  Can't wait to use them!  Yesterday I found the Bubble Launcher to go with them!  I really don't know who is more excited me or the girls!!!
Here are a few eggs that I made!  I am so glad I had some styrofoam eggs bought up because Hobby Lobby didn't have any and Joann's just had a few, which I bought!  Anyway, I found the directions for these eggs on debbiemumm's website!  They were so fun and easy to make!

I don't want anyone to faint but I made joined a BOM!!!  I know I think I must be crazy, right?
Anyway, I finally got the nerve to cut my sunkissed by sweetwater and I have all twelve blocks sewn together!
Believe me that says alot for me!  Just the fact that I could cut them was a miracle but to sew them together and have them turn out was even more of a miracle!  My big deal now is to get the designs transferred onto the fabric!  I think I have read up on this tooo much!  But I think I am going to try the pen that has the ink that goes away when it is ironed!  I would be interested to know how you transfer your designs!
By the way the BOM is Little Birdie Stitches by littlemissshabby!

How about these cuties?!!!  I have adored these for so long and printed the directions off from Linda!
I think I first printed these off 2 years ago and decided this was the year!  I made a batch of eight but forgot to take a picture!  Everytime someone stopped by one of these ducks would leave with them!  When I finally took a picture I only had these 3 left!  Thank goodness just enough for my very best friend and my 2 girlie girls!  Anyway, they are fast and fun!  You should try them!!!

This picture is just to wish you each a HAPPY EASTER!!!
Wherever you are and whatever you are doing I hope you have a wonderfully HAPPY EASTER!!!

The wedding and some warming up!

Align Left
It has been a while, I know, but we were wedding busy! I had to shop for me something, had to make Lilli's gauchos, and at the last minute, I really do mean last minute, John decides if it is going to be freezing or below on Saturday his short sleeve shirt would not be warm enough! I said are you kidding? I had asked him several times through the week if he was sure he was going to wear one of his new short sleeve shirts or did he want something long sleeved. He said oh no I think what I have will be fine! Okay then you will wear short sleeves even if it snows(and it did)! Yep, he said I think I am fine! While he wasn't so Saturday morning at 7:30 am, Lilli and I went to the Wal-Mart, yes I know the Wal-Mart, but seriously that is all we have in town and I was leaving in an hour and wouldn't be back home for at least 12 hours! We did find him a somewhat nice looking sweater to wear! He is lucky they had something and I am lucky he isn't hard to please! I didn't get a picture, but he did look nice! I didn't get any pictures of the wedding. Every time I got my camera out I was distracted. I know, I am very easily distracted!!!
I finished up Lilli's gauchos on, you guessed it, Friday! Nothing like rushing! Anyway, here she is! The colors were brown and cream with deep almost burgundy Gerber daisies! Very pretty!
The wedding was great! The baby and her mama were absolutely gorgeous! The groom(my nephew) was so very handsome!
Here is what Lilli and I had for our mid afternoon snack Sunday just so we could relax, read and warm up! It is very chilly almost cold! YAY!!
You know I love mugs! I bought the one that looks like a present and thought I would love it for all season, but then I found this Debbie Mumm one at JoAnn's and had to have it! I love Debbie Mumm stuff and I love penguins! The little saying says JINGLE JOYS! It is really sweet!

I am off to finish my laundry! Wait can the laundry ever be finished?!!! I suppose it could if I run out of laundry soap!!!lol!!!

Wherever you are whatever you are doing I hope you have a wonderfully happy day!
