For the Love of Christmas and Chocolate!!!

It never seems like Christmas until we make cinnamon rolls!

Well, today I broke down and made some! Yummmmm!!! The house was so warm and cozy with cinnamon oozing through every nook and cranny!! It simply smelled like Christmas!

Then Lilli said lets try to make chocolate chip rolls! I said I tried them once years ago with white icing and they were okay! This time I changed the sugar to brown and the icing to chocolate as you can see!!!!

Shopping and Media Day at THE SPOT!!!!

We have been shopping two times in less than a week!lol! It's fun! However I am so happy to say that I have resisted any fabric! In fact, I haven't bought fabric since sometime in February!
Since I am working really hard to finish up on some already started things, I decided I didn't need to start any new ones! I'm so proud!
I did however find this wonderful cookbook! I'm just sayin' the recipes, the illustrations, and the stories are great! I really like it! I found it at Jo-Ann's today!

This bunch of spring stuff was from last Friday's mad dash to Jo-Ann's for needles! What can I say! Who can resist a 50% off sale!

And this is what I have been doing in between shopping trips!
My brother owns a restaurant in Muncie, IN called The Spot! Today was media day and I baked cinnamon rolls, lots of cinnamon rolls! Lilli baked double chocolate chip cookies! I love to bake! Cinnamon rolls are one of my very favorite things to bake!

Tomorrow I will have an update on projects that I posted the other day! They are coming along nicely!
